WALHT find the area of a shape that has more than one part DLO

Today for maths we had to make a DLO and explain how to find the aread of a shape that has more that one part. That is the WALHT for today. It was hard at first but then I got the job finished with 3 shapes stuck together. Its very easy to find the area of the three shapes. The first step is to split all the shapes. Then find out the area of all the shapes then add all the answers altogether Then thats your area for all of them. My next steps are to try and find out the area for 3D shapes. Chinese Proverb - Levi

Today we got to choose a proverb and a picture about its meaning. But not just any other normal proverb. A Chinese proverb!. My proverb that I chose is a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. And in the background is a picture of a footprint which is the meaning for my proverb. Chinese Language Week DLO

Today For Chinese language week we made a DLO of sayings like Ni hao, Wo jiao etc. We also did the english meaning for the words. I added a chinese flag at the back for the background. My next steps are to learn more chinese sayings so that im able to use these sayings everyday for chinese language week. That concludes my blog post about chinese language week. Levi - Maori Proverbs Scavenger Hunt 2!

Today we did a Scavenger Hunt but it was in Maori!. It was very challenging until our teacher told us that there was a link on the scavenger hunt to all the Maori proverbs, which was cheating but that was the only way I had to do it cause I couldn't understand the Maori words and write the meaning in Maori as well. Maori phrases at school - Levi

Today for Maori language week, room 9 made a chart full of Maori phrases. The Aim of the tasks were to find as much words relating to the topic for example if your asking someone to pass something you would say pass the pene (pen). Levi - Idiom Scavenger Hunt 2!

Today we did another idiom scavenger hunt. It was very easy to find out what the words meant. Since I was getting used to knowing what idioms are I finished it very fast. It was very fun though. Today we did another A - Z alphabet challenge. We had to find some adverbs that start with the letter for example quickly = q. we had to write down adverbs in alphabetical order. Levi - Probability 4

Today for maths we did a probability game called the greatest number. The aim of the game was to try and make the biggest number. I won the first game, with the highest number possible.
